2012 Opening Day – April 1
Grey’s Point Camp is open and ready with a fun filled list of activities and events for the 2012 season.
Eggs-cellent Easter Weekend – April 6 - 8
Peter Cottontail or one of his relatives will be hopping down the bunny trail to oversee one of his favorite weekends at Grey’s Point. Join us for Easter egg hunts, crafts and more.
Culinary Cookoff Weekend – April 13 - 15
Come one, come all and bring your taste buds too! Join us for our first-ever cooking contest with prizes in categories like best entrée, best appetizer, best breakfast, most outlandish dish, best all-around recipe and many more. Come enjoy the culinary talents of Grey’s Point’s best!
Welcome Back Weekend – April 27 - 29
Welcome to the 2012 season! We hope you’ll join for our almost famous Welcome Back Hot Dog Roast on Saturday night!
Cinco De Mayo Weekend – May 4 - 6
It’s the 5th of May! You know what that means! It’s FIESTA TIME! Come to Grey’s Point this weekend to join in on the fun at our Mexican Fiesta. It’s sure to be a fabulous time.
Mother’s Day/ Spring Fling Weekend – May 11 - 13
This weekend is just for Mom but it’s also a time to start cleaning out those winter cobwebs. With a craft show and bake sale going on Saturday, there will be plenty of items to buy for Mom!

Horse Racing Weekend – May 18 - 20
The Preakness has nothing on us. Earn Grey’s Point cash to buy a race horse then race your steed at the Grey’s Point Derby and use your winnings at our auction on Saturday Night during our Preakness Party! Don’t forget the Black-Eyed Susans!
Splash Park Opens for the Season May 25th!
Memorial Day Weekend – May 25 - 28
This special three-day weekend is the traditional beginning of summer fun. Our pools are open on May 18th, so be sure to bring your bathing suits. We will also have our annual red, white, and blue golf cart and bicycle parade along with many patriotic crafts and games planned. Visit the craft sale on Saturday.
Gone to the Dogs Weekend – June 1 - 3
WOOF! This weekend is for our favorite four-legged pets. Bring your dog out for the 2nd annual dog show on Saturday. There will be a prize for the best dressed dog. Throughout the weekend there will be games, fun activities and TREATS for you and your dog to enjoy.
Chocolate Lovers Weekend – June 8 - 10
CHOCOLATE! Probably the only people who do not like it have never tried it! This weekend, things might get a little messy, but that is okay. There will be many chocolate things on the schedule to keep everyone happy.
Father’s Day Weekend – June 15 - 17
Treat Dad to a special weekend at Grey’s Point. We will have a father/child fishing tournament, along with crafts to make for your Dad. Don’t forget to bring Dad to the Ice Cream Social on Saturday.
Wet n’ Wild Weekend – June 22 - 24
Extreme H2000000 and lots of it! The already famous Wet n’ Wild Train Ride will make its appearance this weekend along with water balloon volleyball, a slip n’ slide, and the Aqua Challenge guaranteed to get you soaked! Don’t expect to be dry this weekend!
Fabulous Fourth of July Week – June 29 - July 6
Plan to celebrate the 4th with us! It is one of our most popular holidays of the year here at Grey’s Point. Our golf cart and bicycle parade is the highlight of this national holiday. After the parade, the Watermelon Feast will quench your thirst and cool you down. Don’t forget to visit the Pavilion for our craft sale.
Movie Mix Up Madness Weekend – July 13 - July 15
Movie lovers get ready for this weekend because this weekend is not one that you want to miss. Bring your movie knowledge to Movie trivia on Saturday night and join us for many other movie fun filled games all weekend.
Carnival and Fire Department Weekend – July 20 - 22
This weekend is dedicated to our local Hartfield Volunteer Fire Department. The Fire department will offer a Pig Pickin’ BBQ meal on Saturday along with great carnival fun. Everyone will enjoy the jump castle, face painting and the Grey’s Point employee dunking booth!
Luau Weekend – July 27 - 29
This is a sight to see. Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts and other assorted tropical outfits are the attire for our Saturday evening Luau. You will not want to miss the Queen of the Island Contest!
Crab Feast Weekend – August 3 - 5
ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT steamed Chesapeake Bay Blue Crabs are what most folks come for this weekend. Saturday night it’s a crab lover’s feast. There will also be a great landlubbers menu for those who do not like crabs. Musical entertainment and a craft show are just a few of the fun-fille activities planned for this weekend.
Mardi Gras Weekend – August 10 - 12
New Orleans has sent its influence to Topping, Virginia. The costumes, the music, the parade, and the BEADS! Do not miss the fun!
Casino Weekend – August 17 - 19
Place your bet at Grey’s Point Casino! Join us and find out just how lucky you really are. There will be poker, blackjack and roulette. We will give you a bankroll of Grey’s Point chips to play and at the end of the night, there will be great prizes to bid on at our casino auction.
Fear Factor Weekend – August 24 - 26
Get ready to taste, smell and feel things that are far from the norm. Do you Dare?!?! Have NO FEAR...
Labor Day Weekend – August 31 - September 3
The summer isn’t over yet, so come out to our last big holiday blow-out of the summer season. The pools are still open and the water’s fine, so jump on in. This weekend is full of action packed activities for the whole family to enjoy and do not forget to come to the craft show on Saturday.

Vroom! Vroom! Bring your jerseys, flags, décor and all your team spirit gear. Big screens, tailgates and team spirit abound on this weekend of competitive college sports.

Camper Appreciation Weekend – September 14 - 16
It is time for us to show our appreciation for your visits. Come and take part in our “thank you” weekend and our free Hot Dog Roast on Saturday night. As the 2012 season draws to a close we invite everyone back for the 2013 season.

Wings, Wheels and Keels Weekend –September 28 - 30
Grey’s Point is the best place to stay for Wings and Wheels Weekend. Hummel Field is about a mile from the resort just down Route 3 in Topping. Airplane, automobile and watercraft fans, this weekend is for you. The airfield is also the headquarters for entertainment and plenty to eat.
Fall Festival Weekend – October 5 - 7
Autumn is here, and to welcome it in our Fall Festival is a weekend full of late season activities. We will have plenty of arts and crafts at our craft show and at other activities, hayrides, train rides, and some bluegrass musical entertainment on Saturday.

This weekend is for the youngest of ghost and goblins to enjoy. There will be plenty of fun activities such as a costume contest, Halloween crafts, TRICK-OR-TREATING, and many other activities for the little ghosts to enjoy.
Halloween 2 – October 19 - 21
Join us for the family fun Halloween weekend. Our Halloween Carnival is the highlight of Saturday night. Bring your favorite decorations for our annual site decorating contest. Costume contests for all ages, TRICK-OR-TREATING and much more!
Halloween 3 – October 26 - 28
Another spooky weekend at Grey’s Point Camp. This weekend will transform the resort into one of the spookiest places around. There will be a haunted train ride, Halloween crafts, and many other spooky activities to enjoy throughout the weekend.
55th Oyster Festival – November 2 - 4
Ever since the first festival back in 1957, the Urbanna Oyster Festival has attracted more and more people from throughout Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic States. Now in its 55th year, the Urbanna Oyster Festival draws crowds over 90,000. All of whom are excited to partake in the food, parades, fun and festivities offered at the festival.
Resort Closes – November 15
It is that time of year. Grey’s Point Camp is closed for the season. We look forward to seeing you next season with more great events, entertainment, and fun filled activities in 2013.
